This project is constructed as a delivery box, as we may experience a lack of communication during the pandemic. Sending out this Tulou kit helps to keep the connection as well as promote vernacular architecture and culture.
After we open the box, there are six stamps and postcards. Stamps are like signatures, and the text and associated icons prove the existence of the Tulou culture. We print the pattern on the postcard and send it to the people we miss. Just as the slogan suggests, “relationship needs to be maintained, as do vernacular architecture and culture.”
The bar code is composed of four years that are meaningful to the Tulou, and their meanings are also written on the back of the box so that people can have a deeper understanding. The QR code will lead to my page in case people want more information.
